According to this [link|https://www.asusparts.eu/en/asus/notebook/t-series/t100ta?ProductCategory=HDD|supplier] the laptop has a 2.5” sata HDD installed, which I assume is in the keyboard, the tablet part having non removable eMMC storage.
Perhaps it would be easier to [link|https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxBTh1X-b2Y|remove the HDD] from the keyboard and connect it to a PC via a suitable [link|https://computers.mwave.com.au/electronics/Sata-Adapter|USB or sata adapter], (supplier example only to show types of adapters available).
I realize that the video I linked is for a T100 and not a T100TA but hopefully it is similar in concept to remove the HDD from the keyboard

Not sure if an Asus T00TA is the same as an Asus T100 as far as the HDD goes but if it was then I was wondering if it would be easier to [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxBTh1X-b2Y|remove the HDD] from the keyboard and connect it to a PC via a suitable [https://computers.mwave.com.au/electronics/Sata-Adapter|USB or sata adapter], (supplier example only to show types of adapters available).
