Is the touchscreen working at points all over the screen or just in selected areas?
If working all over it may be just that the surface has cracked and there aren’t any broken internal connections in the screen itself. So the technology that keeps it working is called ''pure'' ''luck''
It is advisable to get it repaired as eventually moisture i.e. perspiration, cleaning etc will enter through the cracks and cause problems and eventually it will fail.
