If you haven’t done this sort of thing before read and re-read the instructions in the manual several times. Disconnect the ribbon cables very slowly and gently. The IFIXIT guide has very good photos.
Once the keyboard is removed it can be cleaned with 99% pureIsopropyl Alcohol available from electronic supply houses. The ***99%*** is important because you want it to be water and mineral free so no residue is left to short circuits. ''The commonly sold 70% pure is for disinfecting.'' Also check the main circuit board for any traces of milk.
