Suspected water damage, black screen but still vibrates

I wore my watch in the shower and in water for two years before I realized it really shouldn’t be used in water. I had some weird issues with the screen turning green and then the screen went black but showed a small white line flickering near the top when I would try to reboot (holding one button and two). It showed still connected on my phone, and the vibration still works if I press the screen. I left it alone for the last month (no charging) hoping maybe it had water inside that needed to dry out but today it’s the same situation: still vibrates, black screen with tiny white line flickering, won’t reboot. It seems there’s still something working inside the watch, I’m considering taking it apart and drying it out if I can find water inside, but my concern is I can’t turn the watch off. It still vibrates and shows the white line when I hold the buttons, so my question is if I take it apart while still partly on, will I damage it further? Am I wrong that it’s on at all? Thank you!
