I have a DAV-SR2 DVD Sony Home Theatre System that has developed a high pitch whistle when powering on, this whistle gets higher in pitch but eventually dies away after 30 seconds or so and works normally. [br]
I suspect it is an electrolytic capacitor problem in the power section but on first look there are no obvious bloated or leaking caps on all circuit boards, I have the circuit diagram/Schematic but would like your advice as to where to look further or if you know of this problem. [br]
