Abs not pulsating but ,no lights, no codes

I have a 2000 dodge Dakota with the 4.7 I noticed that when I hit the brakes on snow it doesn’t pulsate the abs like a car normally would. It acts like I have no abs just normal brakes. There are no lights on the dash for abs or brakes and when I plug it in there are no codes. Any ideas where to start? Or is this normal for this vehicle?
