Kindle Stuck on Boot Screen after Battery Replacement

I have a Kindle Fire HDX 7” 3rd Generation (C7U3RE), and I recently replaced the battery with this [link|https://www.ebay.com/itm/114815961849|battery] using the fixit tutorial. Original battery was a nuisance to get out, but I successfully installed a new one and reassembled it.

Upon turning on I am greeted briefly with the kindle fire logo in faded blue/green, and then it transitions to the regular beige and orange kindle fire logo with the shimmer effect. It just stays on this screen and never progresses. It’s not quite a ‘boot loop’ as it is not turning off and on again.
I have tried various related suggestions on the internet, but want to hear from the crowd once more. Thanks.
