Xiaomi Redmi Note - Led Blinking // Trying the Impossible...

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Hi everyone! New member here!

I've a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 for like 6 years and last weekend I dropped it into the bathtub ?‍♀️?‍♀️

I already looked up on forums and yes, the most easy and responsible thing to do probably is to take the phone to a professional tech service but 3rd world problems it's nearly expensive as buying a new phone. Also I like (not in this cases) to mess up with tech and learn new things.

So this is my status:

* My phone didn't die as soon it touched the water; ***it died when the battery went dry*** (Yes, after I dropped into water I also forgot to charge it?)
* When I plug the charger the led blinks for a minute (I've already tried to left the phone plugged for several hours)
* When I plug the USB cable to a PC it makes noise so i think the charger-PIN is working correctly (?)
* I've already tried power button and volume -/+ for entering recovery mode but nothing happens

I've seen on a diffent forum that a workaround was to dissamble the phone, unplug the battery, then plug the charger (without the battery) and then plug the battery while the charger is connected;

***a really important thing is that in this answer on the forum, the guy says:***

''"When you plug the charger without the batter connected; ***the screen should turn on with the MI logo:***'' ***BUT THIS IS NOT HAPPENING WITH MY PHONE.***

So, this could be a sign that my module/motherboard is the problem? And it is not a drainned-battery-case-scenario?
