Battery percentage not right after replacing battery

I recently replaced the battery on my apple watch series 1 and it holds a charge and everything else works. However the battery percentage is way off. It will not “charge” to 100% and will sometimes drop percentage while charging. It also runs with 0% battery. Is there any way to recalibrate this?
