Do I need to further check for moisture damage here?

Hi, I’m in the middle of replacing my Samsung S9 display as it went bad. In the past, several months ago, I had a slight spill of soda. My phone sat in the soda for maybe 2-3 seconds, I immediately powered the phone off and thoroughly cleaned the ports out with electrical contact cleaner and let it dry for a few days. I had no problems with the phone afterwards until this week when my display started giving me issues.
My phone is quite old, and the display issue is a problem with the flex connector, which seems to be a common problem with this display. The issue and fix is shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8ybjAjardI
I’m not exactly sure if this issue is related to my spill or not. I opened the phone and none of the components have any signs of water damage, and all of the LDIs are still dry. However, I haven’t looked underneath the RFI shielding yet, as I don’t really know how to replace them. Here are some photos to see if you can spot anything I don’t:

Is this display flex issue possibly related to my spill? Is it absolutely necessary to check underneath the RFI connectors even though my phone shows no other signs of liquid damage? I have already ordered a replacement display and battery to fix my phone, but now I’m worried that it might not be enough. Should I even bother replacing the display?
Thanks for all of your help.
