2009 Airport Card with a 2011 display assembly? MBP 2009

Hello, i have a bit of a problem, I have a mid 2009 MacBook Pro 15 inch and i could only find a screen assembly from a 2011 MacBook pro which of course doesnt have an airport card inside with the same isight and sensor cable that the 2009 have,
would it be possible if i bought the 2009 airport card, connected it up with the logic board and left it free inside the case, to hook it up with only two out of the three antenna cables of the 2011 display? since the 2009 airport card only has two antenna connectors but the 2011 has three cables..
