@greg78240 if this line extends all the way across the screen, it is a TAB error. This is not a DIY repair since we would lack the proper tools to repair this. The bonding of the very thin ribbon cable entering the LCD may have come off or broke. Apply some pressure to the cable at exactly the point where the lines appears. If that changes the line, than it is a TAB error. Most of those cannot be repaired but require replacement of the panel. Sometimes the application of a piece of strong tape applies enough pressure to create the connection but this may only be temporary.
