MacBook Air 13” power on ONLY without battery

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Hi everyone. I have a water damaged on my Macbook air 13’’. And following this event, the macbook turn on only to show the empty battery’s picture. (If the power cable is not connected nothing at all happen).

So, I follow the [link|https://fr.ifixit.com/Tutoriel/Comment+nettoyer+correctement+la+carte+m%C3%A8re+corrod%C3%A9e+d'un+MacBook+Pro/88916|tuto to clean] the motherboard. Then try again, same issue.

So, I purchase a new battery and change it, but still the same issue, no matter how long I left the macbook with the power cable connected before trying to turn on again. It’s always the empty battery’s picture.

And finally, I try to turn it on without battery only power by the cable and it works. Everything works well, screen, speaker, backlight, fan,Keyboard, trackpad, ect. (Note: The light in the charger doesn’t light on)

But it randomly shut down after more or less 15min.

My question is the following: Do you have any idea of what could be the cause of this? Or which part should I change?

Thanks
