what leads you to believe its an overheating issue?
how long does it take before this happens?
did it just start happening?
does it happen if you let the console sit or does it only happen when gaming?
have you moved it recently to an enclosed area?
you can try getting some compressed air and clearing out the ventilation on the console. make sure its unplugged first.
typically consoles will shut down to protect more sensitive components from damage. if the console is still under warranty that would probably be your best bet.
