Sound system loose wire? Getting into the media console?

I’ve had this 2004 Accord for a few years - the sound system hasn’t worked in some time. Rather, it may work for a little bit but then there is a terrifying noise through the speakers. Seems to “work better” on interstate travel, consistent speeds, etc.[br]
I’m thinking there may be a loose wire, as I’ve also started having the clock periodically flash on and off - but I have no idea how to get into that center console area to poke around.
