Either the panel is replaced, if you can find one and the price is right, or you advertise the TV as ''faulty screen - good for parts'' to try and recoup some of the cost towards a new TV. Working TV boards are always in demand.

Fixing the vertical tab connections is sometimes achievable if it is only a vertical line or two that is the problem but I’ve never come across a successful horizontal line repair for the panel. Even professional repairers don’t bother.
