My TV started to show this dark patch on the right side of the screen just recently.

Every time I turn it on, it displays the image perfectly, but the dark patch appears after a couple seconds.
There’s other rare event that occurs little often after turning on the TV, which consists of displaying a perfect image for around half a minute. Then, the whole image turns extremely dark and doesn’t come back until I turn off and on my TV.
I’ve tried a few things like leaving it unplugged overnight, performing a factory reset and cleaning the boards inside it. I’ve also carefully cleaned the pins of the FPCs.
This TV has a software check option, which apparently doesn’t work. After holding the on button for a few seconds with the TV off, it displays the message “Software file check failed, please unplug then plug the power cord back in, and try again.“ unplugging then plugging doesn’t allow me to do the software check.
