+Phone won't turn on after battery replacement

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Ifix it I have a problem,

Once I completed the battery replacement, I tried turning it on but all it would show was the battery level. I had to press the home or the volume buttons to get this sign. It calculated 66%, so I let it charge to 100% before trying anything more. Once again I tried to switch on the phone. To no avail.

At one point it showed to be down 5 % which is bizarre. I am stumped and cannot find an answer anywhere.

I have tried to restart the phone, but again this did not work.

I tried to put in the old battery and it did the same.

Did I cause a short circuit?

Great instructions. It did take a while to open the phone. Always a good time.

Thank,

Chad
