Hello, I ordered a replacement motherboard for my ps3, it was cheap because the seller broke off the power plug on the motherboard, but from the photos, I could see that I would be able to solder it back on. Well, I got the motherboard now and the pads are completely broken of the motherboard. Is it still possible to somehow solder it on or is it as good as dead? [br]

I finished the repair, soldered the connector to the board just like in the picture above. Here are the results, I cleaned it up later, don’t worry. I had to modify the top plate slightly, due to the connector being moved up a little bit. I used dremel to do it. All in all it works fine and ps3 is powering on.
