-Do you get any indications on the screen that the battery is charging when connecting a power source to the device e.g. the vehicle power cable. an appropriate mini USB cable connected to a computer or an appropriate AC adapter with a mini USB cable connected?

''If not'' use a strong light and a magnifying glass to check that the mini USB connector on the back of the device is OK i.e. that the port enclosure is not blocked with dust/debris etc or that there is damage to the pins.
If the mini USB port seems to be OK then the device will have to be opened and further inspected
''If it shows that it is charging'' but won’t turn on try holding the Power button operated to see if this resets the device.
If still no good and it won’t start with a charger connected either then perhaps the battery is faulty and may need to be replaced.
