Hi,
Have you checked that the charger’s output voltage is 12V DC ''at the output plug'' of the charger?
It may be if the charger is not working that the battery has finally discharged and the laptop won’t start as the battery is flat and the charger is also not working.
-If the charger is OK (flex the charger near the plug and also near the body of the charger just in case it is fractured under the insulation and it is only intermittently OK) then perhaps the DC-In jack in the laptop may be faulty.
