S.M.A.R.T status failing after SSD Replacement

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I have a 2017 MBA and have recently replaced the ssd (Mar 2021-Replaced with brand new SSD). I’ve wanted to dualboot 2 different versions of macOS on my MBA so I plugged in my USB installer and discovered that the S.M.A.R.T status was at failing. The ssd is barely 4 months old, and I had no trouble installing macOS or Windows through bootcamp just 3 months ago. What might be the issue? Could it be the adapter or the SSD?

BTW: The ssd I’m running is the WD Blue SN550 (500GB) with an adapter.

I have a friend who is running the exact same setup and is facing the same issue . (He upgraded last month)
