Dryer causes breaker to trip

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Hi everyone,

I installed a GFCI breaker to protect my dryer circuit which is very old and is not grounded (circuit uses a black, red and white wires with no ground). Anyway, I pulled the dryer all the way from its place. Later, I disconnected the dryer from the receptacle and the breaker did NOT tripped. I then proceed to connect the dryer while it still was not on its usual place, and the breaker did NOT tripped. When I pushed the dryer back to its place while connected the breaker started tripping again. I think there might be a Ground fault but can’t identify where. Any suggestions? Could it be a lose wire in the appliance? [br]

thank you so much,

Airy
