Got this for free. I hooked it up the remote turns it on. You see the orange lights for couple seconds before it shuts off again.

I don't know much about electronics but it does interest me and if i can learn to fix some things myself, itll prevent items from going in the trash.

After googling i thought it would be the 470uf 16v capacitor as that seems to be be issue with this board but upon inspection areas look fried? Is something like this beyond repair? Or does it just need alot of cleaning and new solder?
