Laptop will not turn back on after replacing display assembly

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I replaced the display assembly of my MacBook Retina Early 2016 over 24 hours ago now, and the laptop will not power on through either tapping or holding the power button. I have tried holding Shift, Option and Control keys, as well as resetting the PRAM, too, to no avail. It’s definitely not just a display issue, as the light on the Caps Lock key is not illuminating, and the track pad is not clicking. Anything else I can try?

+edit: sorry, I should’ve clarified - I definitely disconnected the battery using the pushbutton before disconnecting anything, and I have had a regular ol’ USB charger charging the laptop for ~24 hours now[br]
