Why does my battery percentage go from 100% to 89% after I unpluged it

I've been wondering why my tablet goes from 100% and goes down as soon as I unplug it. It goes down all the way to 89% and everytime I try to get it to a 100 it keeps doing the same thing. I've tried everything unistaling apps, deleted images from my gallery, I also did a factory reset but nothing worked its been happening for a month and a half now. Any suggestions?
