You can buy a new keyboard for about $15 on eBay if worst comes to worst. A comforting backup if all else fails.
I wouldn’t try to remove individual buttons (looks like you have to tear the keyboard apart).

If it were me and and I was intent on not buying a replacement (still nice to know that’s available as a backup), I’d remove it, flip it keys down and immerse it in 91% alcohol. Get something suitable as a soaking tray and dunk it. Agitate it while being soaked, which means, put in in keys down and wiggle it vigorously around in the alcohol. After a good multiple dunking and agitating, I’d let it thoroughly dry out and then reinstall it to see if that had resolved individual key issues.

If it were me and and I was intent on not buying a replacement (still nice to know that’s available as a backup), I’d remove it and literally soak it all in 91% alcohol.
