Why can't I connect my newly bought tplink repeater to it's WIFI?

I have not been facing any issues with my laptop. Ever since I bought this [link|https://tplink-repeatersetup.net|tplink repeater] I am getting issues with this laptop. It seems to work Ok with my regular WIFI but it do not want to connect with the repeater.
