I have a NP900 series 15” laptop that weights around 2.8lbs (light titan). I love it dearly. The weight, keyboard layout and screen are just a wonderful combination. The only downside is the i7-7500u is holding me back nowadays, and I’d like to upgrade to a newer CPU with at least 4 cores.
Question: is it possible to replace the old motherboard on this NP900 with the motherboard of a newer NP940 or more recent series? Any traps I should be wary of?
