I hope the suggestions above worked for you,[br]

because they did not for me.[br]

[br]

[br]

If all the above did not work for you,[br]

And your Enter Key is opening up Power Options,[br]

Check if your Windows Mobility Centre is open.[br]

[br]

You might have opened it with the shortcut ”Win + X”.[br]

The Enter key will not work especially if the keyboard cursor is focused on the Power Options in there.[br]

[br]

So,[br]

CLOSE the Windows Mobility Centre window.[br]

That should work.[br]

[br]

If that still doesn’t work,[br]

Open Task Manager and find the EXPLORER.EXE task under the Processes Tab.[br]

Right-click it and click on Restart.[br]

[br]

That should do a mini software reboot on your system (Without actually switching off your system).[br]

[br]

That, then, should work.[br]

[br]

[br]

[br]

If this helped you, indicate and upvote that it did.[br]

So others too can find this when they need it.
