Had this exact problem. My Kenmore elite is 20 years old. I ordered the new housing communication panel part number 46197030068 off of eBay watched a YouTube video of how to change it out and voila operating normal and no code. All for $280 with 3 year warranty. My family kept saying just get a new one but I was determined to fix it. What did I have to lose. Thanks for the information. [br]
