Recently installed a replacement screen purchased from iFixit into an iPhone XR. The backlight seems to have gone out in one of the corners, but I’m not sure since the rest of the screen works fine.

I noticed the issue as soon as I turned the phone on after the replacement screen reinstallation. Everything else is working fine, touch screen, camera, and face recognition.

My first thought would be to remove the screen again, but removing the screen from the new adhesive will probably be difficult and I wouldn’t want to damage the new screen further. [br]
