I have the exact issue with my 2012 3.0 fusion. The oil is gathering at the rear of the oil pan and oil plug. It seems the oil is at times hitting the main belt to the rear of the passenger side tire causing oil to be thrown multiple areas. I am guessing the oil leak is the main rear seal or possibly coming from the  bottom of the timing chain cover.
