No probably not. Until there is no change in the port mapping and compatibility with the Hardware Casing design , you wont be given the option to get that logic board on ifixit. You will probably need to trade in and get a new Mac. That's one of the draw-backs once you have invested heavily in any hardware product these days. Market survey shows a new upgrade/chipset features etc in every few months and we probably are the suckers buying these latest gadgets without proper reviews and honest opinion on how the device will be useful to us.

IFixit will give you the list of optional Logic Boards sometimes higher than what you have ; based on these compatibility records and advice from their technicians who have worked on such upgrades. You should choose from them ; else you will have something that you cant use anywhere (reselling will be waste of time and money)
