No Charge and PP_VDD_MAIN low

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

So after fixing a vdd_main short on this iPhone X and putting it back together, several other issues emerged. One of them is no charge (the phone recognized the charger but the battery percentage did not increase). I don’t know if this was a prior issue, or if I have caused or maybe it’s the new battery that I replaced (the old one was too discharged). [br]

Trying to rule out the new battery I measured the outcoming voltage of the battery connector when I plugged the phone on the charger. [br]

It is very low, like 0.02V, which probably rules out the battery. [br]

So I thought it might be Tigris or one of the boost charging coils. [br]

However, I also measured PP_VDD_MAIN when only the charger was connected (without battery) and it was very low as well, about 0.6V or less. I would expect about 4V on this line, right?

So my question is, can it be that not enough even gets on PP_VDD_MAIN and thus to Tigris? Could it be Hydra or another component that is not directly related to charging?[br]

I think I can rule out the dock connector since the phone detects the charger and there was no problem when I connected it to iTunes.[br]
