I have the same problem with my tab E after hours of pain staking research I have discovered a fix for this problem.

I had to join a Samsung fan club and download the stock firmware, signup for said fan club, I'll post a link for you, anyway you can get there stock firmware in thirty seconds if you pay for a membership or waite the 90 min for the firmware for free the firmware I'd preloaded in Odin once you have the latest odin download on your PC put your tab in download mode power/ volume down/ home key;@the same time then hook up tab too the pc with the proper USB cord follow the instruction your tab E will be like brand new. On a side note this process will also bypass a “FRP" lock as a bonus.
