Calibrated new battery, now it won't charge

Replaced my iPod Photo battery and everything worked great.

Let it drain overnight, per the calibration instructions and now I can’t get it to charge.  I’ve tried different USB chargers and I’ve verified my iPod cable with a different iPod.

Just gives the low battery screen.

Anyone have any thoughts or tricks?
