I was trying to repair the screen but I pulled at the phone too hard and the phone cracked open. The long ribbon cable is fine, but when I attached the bit to the receiving end, it didn’t sense anything at all. Later, I found that the ribbon proper was not attached to a hole, and there’s also some weird bits underneath. I don’t know where this came from, or if this is the problem (and whether it can be fixed, for the matter), so I’d like clarification on that.
