I've been in Autotech for 53 years this happens quite often on a lot of different makes and models if all the linkages are hooked up and the door is locking and unlocking properly and you still can't open the door from the inside or the outside you have to go down do the window Channel with a long skinny rod and try to get to the part that is not letting the latch part pull the door open the internal springs on the latch assembly break and then the little piece that moves when you lock and unlock the door doesn't go back into place when you unlock the door so you have to manipulate that piece back into position so the latch will work then once you get the door open you can either disassemble the latch and try to repair it or replace it with a new one a lot of times you can find the spring and repair it there's a lot of people online saying you have to cut the door panel off and all kinds of crazy things like that that is not always necessary I can usually get down into the latch assembly and get the lock to open it's difficult to see so if you have a new latch you can see the part that is needing to be pushed on and you can get the door open that way a good technician should be able to figure it out without damaging your door if your window doesn't roll down then you're going to have a problem
