I believe the Mac mini included the built-in antenna even if the optional Airport card was not installed at time of purchase.

I believe the Mac mini included the built-in antenna even if the optional Airport card was not installed at time of purchase, i.e. it's already installed inside the case - just need to plug it in if you later install an Airport card
