I think one of my friends experienced something similar, I might be wrong with the info I give cause I don't have a lot of experience with this part, but I'll try anyway. So what I think he did was change the strainer with a Y one, so the pressure could be easier to release and that might stop said pressure from fissuring the valve. I can also indicate the site where he bought the strainer from https://anixusa.com/y-strainer cause he didn't have any problems with it and as I said, it's important to get quality components if you want to get any use out of them.
