''If there are no images'' to be seen then as a DIY repair all you can do is to check that the display flex cable is securely connected to the systemboard and if it is, to temporarily replace the display to determine whether the problem is in the display or the systemboard.

-With the tablet switched on, try shining a torch at an angle close to the dark side of the screen and check if you can detect any images at all on the screen. They will be very faint if they are there at all so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them.
