bypassing a pin lock

So.

I know it might look a bit strange, but i always had a ( pretty big ) crush on fixing desperatly broken phones and the Samsung Galaxy S8 ( and Lego’s but that’s another thing ).

I recently found one really cheap on Ebay but, which is in a perfectly degraded-but-reparable-condition, but since the phone, by seeing his constition, is very likely a trash-recovered, it appears to have a screen saying:

“this phone is encrypted for security. To start you’r device, enter you’r PIN.”

yeah i didn’t thought it could work, smart ass.

My problem is: is there a way to factory-reset a pin locked Galaxy S8 ? I heard many placed that you can use the power+bixby+volume up button and do a factory reset, mut since i don’t really know how does samsung use their locs and i’m a bit affrait to found fake videos, i thought it could be a good idea to ask here for tips.
