My water dispenser wouldn't stop this morning mi quickly locked it out on the door panel then shut of the water supply,I have replaced the filter but afraid to open the water as it is in another room and don’t have someone to catch the water if it doesn't work. Plus the light won't go off.

Ok I took the chance and turned on the water,unlocked the panel and it just kept spewing out water..if I lock the control it stops,so I will use that method to source my water until I can get it fixed.,my fridge is almost 2 years old,but fortunately we purchased an extended warranty,hopefully it will get fixed asap.
