3ds won't turn on

i have an original 3ds that has been sitting in a drawer for a good while cause i can’t figure out the problem with it.  it won’t turn on but it charges and both fuses are good.  what could be the issue with it? i was thinking it may be one of the screens but i don’t want to buy any parts till i’m sure
