As long as you go with something higher than the OEM and a quality battery you should be safe. But I’m not sure there are any reputable suppliers out there that make upgraded capacity batteries for iPods. I can buy them for iPhones at least and they have roughly 20% more capacity than OEM depending on model. You can buy them from mobile sentrix.
