Logic Board Sensor issue after SSD upgrade

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I recently upgraded the SSD drive on my MacBook Air - OWC 240GB Aura Pro X2 SSD for MacBook Air (Mid 2013-2017). The upgrade and restoration was all fine although the fan became noisy during the process - understandable given the time taken to restore. However, although the MacBook is working well, the fan noise has remained. Apple Genius Bar initially diagnosed this as a damaged fan. But when they replaced the fan, the noise persisted. They rediagnosed a fan sensor issue on the Logic Board. Apple dictates that for them to repair would be a whole Logic Board replacement - £450! Out of the question. Is there a cost effective repair or do i just put up with the noise?
