I am helping a friend replace the battery on her Yoga 2 Pro. I advised her to purchase the battery from iFixit and after replacing the battery for a while the battery remained stuck at 60%. Then the computer turned off abruptly and now the battery shows 0% and charging but it never shows anything above 0%. Any recommendations. I’ve tried a number of different things. the battery is connected properly and I’ve left it charging overnight. Nothing. I thought maybe it was an issue with Windows or one of the power apps like Energy Manager so I even booted the computer to Fedora using a USB. The battery still shows as being at 0% and “charging” but never actually charges. [br]

I’m beginning to think the battery from iFixit may be defective.
