If this type of liquid contains some substances that can damage plastic or rubber, this will damage a part of your camera. These types of cleaners are made to clean only the motherboard or similar components. But the cameras, microphone, speaker ... have plastic components that cleaners can damage.
I also agree with the sage Jayeff, in this case it could be a mixture of reasons for this problem.
