What is the model number of the motherboard? (I assume that it is a desktop and not a laptop as usually laptop's don't have LEDs on the motherboard)
-If it is a desktop, try disconnecting the power from the PSU and removing the CMOS battery (coin cell battery)from the motherboard (remember the orientation - +ve on top usually) and pressing holding the power on button for 30 seconds to reset the BIOS. Reinsert the CMOS battery, reconnect the power to the PSU and turn on the computer and try to get into BIOS or see if it boots at all or maybe into the repair menus
